Last Wednesday, Jumia alongside its vendors and retailer held an online/facebook presser to announce the much anticipated Jumia Anniversary Sale and share about how customers, vendors and communities will benefit from the campaign. This time the campaign is themed Stronger Together (Tuli Wamu Nawe). Jumia was established in 2012 and has established itself as a leading e-commerce platform in Africa that has offered vendors a platform to sell their products and access customers with the help of their last-mile distribution network.

This is an unprecedented time for a consumers to be online as Jumia will be giving 50% discounts off most sales and free deliveries during the 8th Anniversary sales running from 15th to 30th June 2020. The sale aims at giving back and celebrating the brands, the consumers, the vendors and communities that Jumia serves.

In this sales campaign Jumia has lined up millions of products from thousands of brands and retailers that’ll be at exclusive discounting. During this presser the CEO of Jumia Uganda, Mr Ron Kawamara thanked everyone for 8 years of supporting Jumia.
