Africa’s largest online retailer – Jumia announced the Jumia Tech Week 2020 sale through it’s social platforms last week.

This is an expansion of the Jumia Mobile Week which always happens every 1st quarter of the year. They have taken the next step of being more inclusive of all tech products. In Uganda, the sale will run from March 16th to 31st, offering customers exclusive discounting on tech products ranging from phones, TVs, Computers, Home appliances, to accessories like headsets. Among the top Brands to watch out for in the week include Tecno, Infinix, itel, Samsung, Apple, Toshiba, HP, Dell and other accessories.

Clients will save up to 80% on tech products with Jumia’s Massive Offers during the two weeks.

This sales campaign offers a wide range of quality tech products and accessories. They have millions of products lined for their clients.

Benefits, promos and giveaways
The E-commerce platform will also run a number of frenziedly promos and giveaways during the campaign i.e. Flash Sales, Treasure Hunts, Express delivery etc.

Flash sale
All-over the campaign a series of flash sales will run everyday. Flash sale contests are sales where a discount or promotion on a specific product is offered for a short period of time.

Treasure Hunt
Treasure Hunts are contests where you can stand a chance to win products at 99% off. Jumia will simply hide the product in one of its sections and disguise its name. You will then have to comb the app for the product and immediately you find it, you make an order for it.

Express deliveries
There is also nationwide delivery in Uganda & express delivery in Kampala. Express delivery is where a product is delivered on the same day when the order was made.

Clients will be able to pay using MTN Mobile Money or pay with cash on delivery.

Cash Back Return Policy
Clients get to enjoy 7-day cash back return policy in case of wrong or defected orders.

Ordering and picking at distribution Centers

Customers will be able to pick up orders offline and make payments at the different Bata and Total stations in the country.
